Etrusco

About one week after we arrived in Dunedin, we had a small gathering just to kill time at Friday night. We had dinner at Etrusco; the thing about Etrusco is that it has quite a similar concept to Capers'. So it is like 'all you can eat' kind of thing.

On our way to Etrusco

We had smoked salmon strips as starters and some bread. Damn how hungry I was at that time, and ate starters like there were mains.

This was what remained, there was a bit of salmon left.

The sad thing about this restaurant was the service is very poor. We had to wait for about an hour for the mains to arrive. While waiting, this was what we did:

So after about an hour, the mains arrived. The dishes were a bit too 'green' and too 'red'. The green one was spinach pasta and the red one was I think mushroom pizza. Initially, the pastas were very nice. But I kind of dislike the aftertaste, too much veggies in one meal.

The mushroom pizza

The spinach pasta; note the left pasta which was also merely tomato pasta

Looking at the bright side, the dessert was nice

My last word about Etrusco; it is a very nice place for someone into veggies.
